Loganville - Gary D. Godfrey, 62, of Loganville, passed away while surrounded by his loving family on Friday, April 1, 2022 at Hospice and Community Care, Mt. Joy.

He was born December 15, 1959 to late Harvey A. Godfrey and late Carolyn P. (Appleby) Snyder. Gary was also the stepson of late Wilmer "Shady" Snyder.

Gary worked as a carpenter his entire life, most recently with Structural Restoration Services and previously with one of his best friends in their own business. He had a love for cars, especially hot rods. He was a member of NSRA, Victory Athletics Association, and Christ Lutheran Church in Loganville. Gary's greatest joys were his daughters and grandchildren. He loved to spend time with family and his pups.

Gary is survived by his two daughters, Amy (Michael) Stover of Manheim, and Ashley (Andrew) Wagner of Loganville; grandchildren, Lianna, Chase, and Leia Stover; Kaylee, Mason, Aspen, and Nolan Wagner; his sister, Louann S. Wilson, and two nieces. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother-in-law James Wilson.

A celebration of life service will be held at 11:00 AM with visitation at 10:00 AM on Thursday April 7, 2022 at Christ Lutheran Church, 80 S. Main St., Loganville with Dan Warner and Rev. Douglas DeStephano officiating. Interment will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Loganville.

Memorial contributions may be made in Gary's memory to Christ Lutheran Church Loganville, PA or to Vickie's Angel Foundation, New Cumberland, PA.
