Services for Jarrod James King, 40, Overton, are scheduled for 2:00 pm, Sunday, September 12, at the Cottle-Pearson Funeral Home chapel, Overton with Reverend Matthew Prosser officiating.
Mr. King died Friday, September 10, 2010, in Longview.
He was born May 20, 1970, in Houston to James and Janet Carson King and moved to the Overton area in 1985 from Katy. He was a dispatcher in the East Texas Oil Field prior to his illness. He enjoyed music and had a unique sense of humor. He was a wonderful uncle and had a host of friends and family and he was very loved.
Survivors include his wife, Freedom Lori King, New Orleans; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Seth James King of Norfolk, Virginia and Senovia King, Tyler, and Cody Carson King, Arp; two daughters and a son-in-law, Clarissa Breann King and Randy Reid, and Lexie Jo King, all of Overton; parents, James and Janet Carson King, Overton; grandparents, J.W. and Winnie Carson, Overton and Novell King, Dallas; sisters, Jana Jaye Campbell and Janai Janet King, both of Tyler; four grandchildren, Leland Reid, Aiden Reid, Kale Reid, and Haven Reid; nieces, Darrian King, Gracie Jayne Campbell and Emma King; nephews, Colton Campbell, Dylan Campbell, and Jordan King.
