Charlotte Holcomb Mason Allen was born November 4, 1932 South of Weleetka to Sam Holcomb and Barbara Craig Holcomb and passed from this life March 31, 2022 in Okemah at the age of 89.
Charlotte was raised in the Weleetka area and attended the local school. Charlotte married Robert Lewis "Bobby" Mason in Dustin, Oklahoma on October 7, 1949 . To this union four children were born. Tragically October 1, 1962 he husband, Bobby died when his vehicle was stuck by a train. She later attended nursing school at Valley View in Ada, Oklahoma, graduating in 1962. She spent most of her life in nursing retiring at the age of 69 from Adkins Enterprises. At 65 she learned to operate computers. This meant a great deal to her and it opened a whole new world.
On Janay 13, 1963 she married William Roger Allen. Together they owned and operated the Allen Chevrolet Company
In her spare time she enjoyed ceramic artwork and painting.
Charlotte was preceded in death by her parents, the father of her children Bob Mason, 2 infant babies, 2 sisters Ina Jean Holcomb and Joy Slack and her husband James, 2 brothers, Ted Holcomb and Rev. Earl Holcomb, along with her husband William Roger Allen who died November 17, 2007 and her son Mark Edwin Mason on July 13, 2018.
Survivors include: her son Michael Lewis Mason of Weleetka; a granddaughter Fawna, a great grandchild, 3 nieces, a nephew, along with other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, April 5, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at the Assembly of God Church in Weleetka with Rev. Robert Bray, pastor, and Rev. Donnie Williamson officiating. Interment will be in Hillcrest Cemetery in Weleetka under the direction of Williamson-Spradlin Funeral Home of Weleetka and Wetumka.
