Elizabeth Erberline, born in Shelby County KY died in Browning MO. Daughter of Rev Thomas Jennings a Baptist minister and Lucinda T. (Phillips) Jennings. Father died 1844. Her widowed mother emigrated to Missouri with her family in 1845 or 1846 stopping a short time in Howard County MO, then on to Linn County settling near old Mt Olive Baptist Church. She married first William Hooker 1852. He was killed at the battle of Shiloh. Married second time Thomas J. Moffett of Linn County 15 Feb 1866, who died December 1898. Few years later married William Crookshanks who also preceded her. Leaves a sister, Mrs T (Alice) Bailey, Meadville; children, Mary Mundell, Browning; Lucy Graham, state of Washington; Lizzy Corey of Excelsior Springs MO; Edith J. Kimber, Centerville IA; Mattie M Buxton, Browning, MO; James T. Moffett, Polo MO. Funeral at the Browning Baptist Church. Burial in Purdin Cemtery.
