Robert "Bob" Lee Auler, 74, of Holcomb, Mo., passed away Monday, Dec. 12, 2011, at St. Bernard's Medical Center in Jonesboro, Ark. Born Feb. 10, 1937, in Alexandria, Ind., son of the late Peter William Auler and Lena Auler, he was a U.S. Air Force veteran, retired, having served in Vietnam. He was a school teacher, a member of Tatum Chapel in Kennett, VFW am Legion of Malden, NRA, lifetime member Am Hunt and Fish Club and Teachers Association.

On Dec. 27, 1958, in Kennett, he married Naomi Ruth Truelove, who preceded him in death on May 20, 1972. He was also preceded in death by three brothers, George, Clarence and Dale, and four sisters, Helen, Augusta, Betty and Esther.

Survivors include two sons, Danny Auler, of Holcomb, and Perry Auler and wife, Sonya, of Senath, Mo.; one daughter, Carla Auler, of Indianapolis, Ind.; one brother, Peter Auler, of Alexandria; three grandchildren, Jeromy, Joseph and Jordonaka Auler, all of Senath; four great-grandchildren, and a host of other family and friends.

Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to service time at 2 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 15, at Bradshaw Funeral Home in Kennett. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 15, at Bradshaw Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Scott Crane officiating. Burial will follow in the Memorial Gardens Cemetery at Kennett.
