Lennie Hayes, born as Janie Lennie Hayes, 92, of Senath, Mo., died Wednesday, Jan. 14, 2009, at the Heritage Gardens Nursing Home in Senath. Born March 27, 1916, in Greenville, Mo., she was the daughter of the late James Leonard and Clara Elder Hayes.
Survivors include one brother, Johnny Hayes and wife, Maxine, of Senath; one sister, Lavada Ridings, of Jackson, Mo.; two sisters-in-law, Lucille Hayes, of Scott City, Mo., and Mildred Hayes, of Jackson.
She was preceded in death by five brothers and four sisters.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Friday, Jan. 16, at the McDaniel Funeral Home Chapel in Senath with Rev. Charles Clark officiating. Burial was in the Memorial Gardens Cemetery at Kennett. Pallbearers were Michael Ridings, Zach and Jonathan Dunivan, Adam Cooper, Jimmy Hayes and Steve Buchheit.
