Mrs. Minnie Eva Street, 66, Baxter Springs route 2, died at 2:50pm Wednesday at her home following a long illness.
Born April 5, 1909 at Liberal, Kansas, she had lived at her present address for the last 35 years, moving there from Oswego.
Survivors include her husband Laurence C Street; a son, James C Street, Baxter Springs route 1; two daughters, Esther Dunn of Chetopa and Sharon Johnson Baxter Springs route 2; six brothers, Hiram Smith of Muskogee, OK, Arthur Smith, Willie Smith, Franklin Smith and Homer Smith all of Oswego, and Ether Smith of Coffeyville; four sisters, Verna Elliott and Bertha Campbell both of Oswego, Myrtle Hollis of Osborne, Lily Hollis of Coldwater; and four grandchildren.
Services will be announced by Paul Thomas Funeral Home of Picher, OK.
