Mr. Kenneth McDonald Allen was born in Wayne County on February 21,1959 to the late Ennis C. Allen Sr, and Inez Smith Allen.

He was member of The American Legion NC Post 0525. He served his country in the United States Army and Reserve and was honorable discharged.

A celebration of his Life, Spirit, and Legacy will be Saturday, April 2, 2022 at 3:30 p.m. at Howell Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery in Goldsboro with military honors. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 2:30 until 3:15 p.m.

He leaves to cherish his memories his brothers, Col (R) Elmontenal C. Allens of Fort Belvoir, VA and Mr. Tony A. Johnson of San Gabriel, CA; two nieces, Dr. Shanel Lu of Ashburn, VA and Mrs. Charwan Dwuma of Fort Meade, MD; nephew, Mr. Thailor Wilson; aunt, Ms. Mable Warren of MD; two favorite cousins, Ms. Sharon Porter Wynn of Chicago, IL and Mr. Keith Wynn of Pittsfield, MA.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Allen was preceded in death by his brother, Ennis C. Allen Jr. and one sister, Rev. Edith Crews Meriedy.
