Nancy Jo (Bray) Blount, of Ardmore, departed this life on Thursday, March 31, 2022 at OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City, OK at the age of 57 years, 11 months, and 25 days. Funeral services are scheduled at the First Baptist Church of Ardmore. Interment will follow in the Newport Cemetery in Lone Grove. Services are under the direction and care of Alexander Gray Funeral Home of Wilson.
Nancy was born to Mr. Clebert Ward "Keg" Bray and Mrs. Marcella (Jones) Bray in Ardmore, OK on April 6, 1964.
She was raised primarily in Lone Grove and attended Plainview Schools and was active with the flag corp. Nancy graduated with the Plainview High School Class of 1982. She later attended Murray State College and received her Associates degree. She was Certified Nurses Aide and had worked at different nursing homes before going to work at Mercy Memorial Hospital for the past 18 years as a CNA. Nancy enjoyed painting, gardening and doing arts and crafts. She was a member of the Baptist faith and most recently attended church at Fusion of Ardmore.
Nancy is preceded in death by her father, Keg Bray; grandson, Jakob Blount, grandparents, Lottie Mae Jones and Dave and Vera Bray.
