Sylvia Jean Summers, 82, of Bruceton Mills (Clifton community), WV, passed away Wednesday, March 30, 2022, at Mon Health Medical Center, in Morgantown, WV.
The daughter of the late Elzy Glen and Margaret Frantz Fike, she was born April 29, 1939, in Hazelton, WV.
She is survived by a daughter and her husband, Sharon and Mike Watkins, of Morgantown; a son and his wife, Bradley and Deb Summers, of Bruceton Mills; 8 grandchildren: Connie Pinkney and her husband, Jason, Scott Hall and his wife, Kim, Nicki Durschlag and her husband, Dicky, Vicki Nieman and her husband, Rusty, Rachel Hall, Waylon Summers, Serena Summers, and Holly Peet; 15 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Ethel Lose and Patsy Funk; and two brothers, Jr. Glen and Doug Fike.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Eugene Summers; two sons, James Allen and Brian Lee Summers; a grandson, Christopher Wilson; and two sisters, Naomi Rosenberger and Rosa Lee Collins.
Family and friends may call at the Carl R. Spear Funeral Home in Brandonville-Bruceton Mills, WV, Saturday, April 2, 2022, from 11:00 am until the 2:00 pm service, with the Jehovah's Witnesses officiating. Cremation will follow later.
