Lynn was a decorated Vietnam veteran of the US Army. He retired from McConnell Heavy Hauling as a heavy equipment hauler. Lynn appreciated the simple pleasures of life. He loved a good plate of BBQ ribs, a cold beer and having his dog, Kenai, by his side. He also enjoyed fishing, hunting, tending to his gardens and spending time with friends at the farm. Lynn's two grandchildren were his world, and he took pride in teaching them about guns, knives, fishing, gardening and fixing his pick-up truck. He was also known as "Dody", a nickname given to him by his daughter when she was a child. Lynn "Dody" was a selfless and loving father and grandfather, and he will be deeply missed by many.
Survivors: daughter, Sonya Phillips Burton; granddaughter, Lyla Miller; and grandson, Canyon Miller, all of Benton, Arkansas.
A family memorial will be held at a later date.
