George Milton Miller, 89, of Hummelstown, entered into eternal rest in his home on March 30, 2022 surrounded by family.
He was born May 08, 1932 in Harrisburg to the late Milton Miller and Pearl (Libe) Bowman.
George was a Middletown Borough Police Officer starting from 1968 and working through all the ranks within the department. He proudly served as Chief from 1985 until his retirement in 1994.
He was an avid train lover and collector and loved going to the casino with his wife.
In addition to his parents, George was preceded in death by his loving wife: Shirley Irene (Westenberer) Miller; his sister: Janet; his brothers: Ronnie, Bud, and Jim Miller; and, his feline companion: Snowball.
He is survived by his sons: Louis W. (Debra) Miller and George D. (Dawn) Miller; his granddaughters: Jessica and Jennifer; his grandsons: Josh and Zach; his great-granddaughter: Paige; and, his great-grandsons: Chase and Davin.
Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
