Ebby passed away on March 30, 2022 at Auberge Assisted Living of causes incident to age. He was born in the small Utah town of Woodland June 14, 1928. In 1935, when Ebby was seven, his family decided to move to Draper, Utah, which was originally settled by his great-grandpa, Ebenezer Brown.

He lived there helping his dad on the farm until the age of 18 when he, his suitcase and $3, made their way to Ogden.

While in Ogden working for the Union Pacific Railroad, he met a beautiful young lady named Edna Boren and fell in love. However, in 1950, Uncle Sam came calling and he ended up in Korea, working as a medic for two years.

In 1952, he was released from the Army and quickly came home and married Edna, they had four children, Dale (Patti), Carol (deceased), Randell (deceased), and Debra (Jim). Ebby and Edna lived a happy life until she became ill and passed away in 2003.

Ebby was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed making woodworking projects. In 2009, he was fortunate enough to find love again with Aileen Nakano. They were happily married until her passing in 2014.

Ebby moved into the Auberge Assisted Living in May 2017, where he made many friends and enjoyed playing cards, going on outings, listening to music and visiting with friends and family.
