Michael Ernest "Mike" Cobb, 65, of Winchester, VA, died Sunday, February 27, 2011.
He was born August 22, 1945 in Riverdale, MD the son of the late Allison and Hallie Mae Fulks March.
Mike worked for Crown Cork and Seal Company as a mechanic for thirty-two years until his retirement. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles #824.
He is survived by three daughters, Diane E. Exum of Leesburg, FL, Kayde M. Plunkett and her husband, Dave of Stephens City, VA and Winter J. Cobb of Winchester; one son, Joshua M. Cobb and his wife, Courtney, of Middletown, VA; two sisters, Brenda Ward and Beverly Nelson both of Arizona; one brother, Jimmy Cobb of West Virginia and seven grandchildren, Brittany Conway, Andrew Plunkett, Haley Bozzi, Hannah Exum, Danielle Plunkett, Madelyn Exum and Braeden Cobb.
His biological father, Jesse Cobb, a brother, Norman Cobb and a sister, Patty Jo Davis preceded him in death.
A funeral service will be held Friday, March 4, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Jones Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Steve. C. Melester officiating.
The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6-8:00 p.m. at Jones Funeral Home.
