Margaret Coffey Turner, age 87, of Bristol passed away on Thursday, March 31, 2022 at her home surrounded by her family. Margaret was born on December 29, 1934 in Jefferson County Birmingham, Alabama to Frank Sr., and Eirby Coffey. In a beautiful home wedding she married William Howard Turner in Birmingham, AL. on November 25, 1955

Margaret was a member of the Oceanway Baptist Church in Jacksonville, Florida. She worked in retail selling medical uniforms for over 26 years.

Margaret is survived by her children Darrell (Rosemary) Turner of Bristol, IN., Barry ( Rose Marie) Turner Warrior, AL., and Donna (John) Mejia of Adamsville, AL; her grandchildren James Lynn Turner, Megan (Eric) Jokl, Brandi Mejia, Daniel (Jessica) Turner, David Turner and Allison Turner; five great-grandchildren; her brothers Frank Coffey, Sr., Robert Coffey, and many nieces and nephews.
Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, her husband William Howard Turner and her brother Theodore Coffey.

In keeping with Margaret's wishes she will be laid to rest next to her husband William Howard Turner at Alabama National Cemetery in Montevallo, AL. Stemm-Lawson-Peterson Funeral Home, 1531 Cobblestone Blvd., Elkhart IN. 46514 is assisting the Turner family.
