Born near Lane in Franklin County, Kansas, she had lived in this area 46 years. She was a member of the Evangel Temple, First Assembly of God Church. She leaves her husband, Andrew J. Kimes of the home; a daughter, Mrs. Naomi Palmiter of Kansas City, Kansas; a son, Andrew H. Kimes of Tulsa; a sister, Mrs. Cora Gibson of Topeka; and three grandchildren."
