Jacqueline "Jackie" Thomas, 70, of Deer Park Township, passed away on Tuesday, March 29, 2022, at OSF St. Francis Medical Center, in Peoria. A Private Graveside service will be held at the Deer Park Cemetery with a celebration of life held at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Mueller Funeral Home in Ottawa.
Jackie was born on May 2, 1951, in La Salle to Fred and Darlene (LeBeau) Rosencranz. She was a 1969 graduate of Ottawa Township High School. Jackie married Daniel Thomas on December 26, 1970, at the Waltham Presbyterian Church. She worked at IVCH in admitting, until her retirement. She also spent her life helping her husband running the farm in Deer Park Township. Jackie enjoyed vacationing in Florida, Las Vegas, and especially the family fishing trips to Wisconsin. More than anything, Jackie loved the time she was able to spend with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Daniel; three sons, Dan (Amy) Thomas of Ottawa, Jim (Randi) Thomas of Ottawa, and Ron (Chrissy) Thomas of Oglesby; six grandchildren, Ashlyn, Emma, Jacob, Ricky, Savannah, and Jimmy; a brother, Fred (Pam) Rosencranz of Fulton, New York; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister Susan Arroyo.
