Karen Lynn Smith 29 Aug 1975 - 26 Mar 2022

Karen Lynn Smith, age 46, of Eaton Rapids, Michigan, went to be with the Lord on March 26, 2022.
Karen was born on August 29, 1975, in Eaton Rapids.
Growing up, she had a special interest in cows and was a member of 4-H.
She followed her passion and after graduating from Leslie High School in 1994, she earned her bachelor of science degree in Dairy Science from Delaware Valley University in 2002.
She was also an active member of the American Brown Swiss Association.
Karen loved sports and was an avid University of Michigan Wolverine fan.
In her free time, she enjoyed making jewelry and she loved giving her creations to others.
She met the love of her life, Tim Lloyd, in a chance meeting at the local grocery store.

They married in 2008 and have shared their love for 13 years. Karen worked as a Heart Monitor Technician.
She will be remembered as being funny and hardworking, as well as being stubborn like her mom and having a heart of gold.

Karen is preceded in death by her father, Samuel Smith; grandparents: Doris and DeWaine Bienz, and John and Marie Gray; parents-in-law, Vicki and Wayne Hankins; aunts, Dianne Lokken and Connie Graves; and uncle, John Gray.

She is survived by her mother and step-father, Susan and James Gray; siblings: Chris (Christine) Gray, James Gray, and Donna Gray; aunts and uncles: Dianne Bienz, Richard (Dottie) Lokken, Carl (Jill) Bienz, Gwen (Roy) Rogers, Kim Scutt, and Gail Steele; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She also leaves behind her fur babies: Durango, Smoky, Demon, Teeny and Booboo.

A graveside service at the Onondaga Cemetery in Onondaga, Michigan, and luncheon celebrating Karen's life will be held at a later date.
