Our loving mother, Dorothy Jean White, passed away peacefully on Monday morning, March 28, 2022. She is preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Paul J. White.

She was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on December 14, 1927, to George and Johanna Wilson. She attended St. Mary's High School in Indianapolis. Dorothy continued to be a devout Catholic her whole life, attending Holy Name Catholic Church in Beech Grove, IN. for many years. Dorothy was a loving mother and homemaker. She raised four children, Joseph White (Dulcie Sinn), Diane White (Douglas Schwartzentruber), Daniel White (Juleen), and Timothy White (Beth). After raising her four children she worked and volunteered at several places in the Indianapolis area.

In addition to her children and their spouses, she will be sincerely missed by nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

A funeral mass will be celebrated for Dorothy on Saturday, April 2, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at Holy Name Catholic Church in Beech Grove, Indiana with visitation at the church from 11:15 a.m. until mass at 1:00 p.m.

Arrangements are entrusted to Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service and Crematory – Franklin Township Chapel.
