Mr. Tripp died Monday in Breckenridge, Texas.
He was born in Stillwater, Okla. He was a wholesale manager for the Antique Rose Emporium. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church softball team. Mr. Tripp graduated from Bryan High School in 1983 and Tarleton State University with a degree in agriculture economics.
He is survived by his wife, Christine Jakubik Tripp of Snook; one son, Thomas Leland Tripp of Snook; three brothers and three sisters-in-law, Tim and Paula Tripp of Davis, Calif., Tony and Elsa Haubold Tripp of League City, Texas, and Tom and Carrie Weitinger Tripp of Houston; a sister and brother-in-law, Cindy Tripp Stiegler and Gary of Fort Collins, Colo.; a sister-in-law, Lisa and Nathan Jones of Jacksonville, Texas; his parents, Leland and Bernadine Tripp of Bryan; a mother-in-law and father-in-law, Leroy and Margaret Jakubik of Bryan.
Memorials may be made to the Thomas Leland Tripp Savings Fund at the First Bank of Snook or the First United Methodist Church of Bryan Children's Sunday School Refurbishing Fund.
