Stanton White was a son of Isaac and Catherine (Stanton) White. He married 6mo 17 1795 at New Garden meeting, Guilford Co., NC, Sarah Stanley. Stanton and Sarah were set off from New Garden when Hopewell Meeting was established as a monthly meeting in 1824. In 1827 Stanton and Sarah were granted a certificate to transfer their membership to Milford Monthly Meeting in Indiana, but went on to Duck Creek Monthly Meeting in Greensboro, IN, when that meeting was set off from Milford. When Spiceland Monthly Meeting was set off from Duck Creek in 1833, Stanton and Sarah were set off with that meeting were among the original members of that meeting.
