He attended Lafayette Jefferson High School, served during World War II in the U.S. Navy as a medical corpsman, then graduated from Purdue University. Mike moved to Fort Wayne in 1950, with his wife Jacqueline, where he lived, worked, and retired until moving to Bloomington in 2015. He was an Investment Counsellor for over 40 years mostly at Thomson & McKinnon in the Lincoln Tower. He finished his career at Prudential Bache. He was an avid and accomplished golfer, shooting his age twice at the age of 76. He was a skilled handyman with a strong artistic bent and an admirer of brevity.
Mike was preceded in death by his wife Jackie in 2007. They were married for 57 years.
