Ray Claude Adams died at age 56 on Wednesday, October 31, 1990, at his home in Anna.

He was born in Balcom, Illinois on June 19, 1934, the son of Elmer and Lula Nelson Adams.

He is survived by three daughters, Connie Duncan of Evansville, Indiana, and Kathy Baumann and Sherry Ann Throgmorton, both of Vienna; two brothers, Robert Adams of Anna and Rufus Adams of Flemington, New Jersey; and four grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Elmer.

Mr. Adams was a key laborer for E. T. Simonds Construction Company. He was a member of Anna Moose Lodge 1346, the National Rifle Association, Big Creek Baptist Church and Laborers Local 1303 of Anna.

Burial in Big Creek Cemetery, south of Anna.
