Age 51, formerly of Peters Township passed away January 22, 2022. He was the beloved son of Ed and Cathy Thomas and brother of the late Kimberly Howell Thomas. Scott was born December 7, 1970, and grew up in McMurray. He graduated from Peters Township High and went on to Penn State University where he received a BA in English with a concentration in writing. Prior to moving to Myrtle Beach in 2019, Scott worked for Xytech Systems Corporation in Los Angeles, CA as head of Technical Writing and Training. Friends will be received on Saturday, April 2, 2022, from 1-5 p.m. at BEINHAUER FUNERAL HOME, 2828 Washington Road, McMurray where a blessing service will be held at 4:45 p.m. A repast will immediately follow in the Community Room at Beinhauer Funeral Home. Private interment at Queen of Heaven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
