Patricia Louise Cook, 87, of Tallahassee, Florida, passed away on Tuesday, March 29, 2022, at Your Life Senior Living, while surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Fort Madison, Iowa on May 31, 1934, she was a daughter of Leo Merschman and Esther Reisinger Merschman, of blessed memory.
Survivors include her children, Joe Cook, Judith McMurtry and Stephani Price (husband, Benji); grandchildren, Jason McMurtry, Brooks Price (wife, Maddie), Lindsay Price and Mallory Burdette (husband, Josh); great-grandchildren, Sophie Price, Benjamin Price, Kherrigan Burdette and Maryn Burdette; and sister, Rosie Schneider. She is also survived by a nephew, Mike; and two nieces, Debbie and Nancy.
A Catholic by faith, she attended Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, Good Shepherd Catholic Church and St. Louis Catholic Church. She was very active in the Women's Guild at St. John Neumann Retreat Center, loved to travel both domestically and internationally with her sister, enjoyed exercising at the Tallahassee Senior Center; but most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family.
The graveside service is 11:00 AM, Tuesday, April 5, 2022, at Tallahassee Memory Gardens, Garden of Peace. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Big Bend Hospice. Online condolences may be expressed at www.abbeyfh.com.
