Rawleigh C. Zilliox, 86, Lawrence, will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Plymouth Congregational Church. Private graveside services will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.

Mr. Zilliox died Saturday, Oct. 21, 2006, at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.

He was born Nov. 2, 1919, in Nevada, Mo., the son of Robert L. and Emma Raschke Zilliox.

After graduating from Liberty Memorial High School in 1938, he worked for Boeing Aircraft in Wichita. He served in Alaska as a hangar chief during World War II. In Lawrence, he worked for Reuter Organ Co., the Gill Agency and Westlake Hardware.

He was a member of Plymouth Congregational Church, Acacia Lodge No. 9 A.F. & F.M., Lawrence York Rite Bodies, Lawrence Shrine Club, the Abdallah Shrine of Kansas City, Kan., the Lawrence Board of Realtors and the National and Kansas Association of Realtors.

He married Phyllis White on Nov. 4, 1950, in Salina. She survives, of Lawrence.

Other survivors include a son, Brad, Lawrence; a daughter, Melinda Maygers and husband Dennis, Lawrence; four grandchildren, Melinda and Brittany Zilliox and Bryan and Holly Maygers, all of Lawrence; a great-granddaughter, Alia Zilliox, Lawrence; a brother, Bob, Hanover, Ind.; and two sisters, Norma Harrison, Baytown, Texas, and Betty Hunter, Shawnee.
