Christopher Gene Chandler, age 37, of Baldwin, Georgia, passed away on Saturday, March 19, 2022.
Born in Texarkana, Texas on February 14, 1985, he was the son of the late Billy Gene and Donna Brumley Chandler. Chris was a contractor with McClendon Solid Surfaces, Inc. In his spare time, he enjoyed camping and spending time with his family. He also loved his faithful dog companion, Zor.
Survivors include his loving wife, Talitha Griggs Chandler of Baldwin, GA; stepchildren, Cody and Laura Howard of Chatsworth, GA; Tyler Ridings, Faith Anderson both of Baldwin, GA; grandchildren, Kayden Howard, Nathaniel Perry, Khloe Perry, Grace Howard, Dawson Ridings, Dakota Baker, Micah Anderson, and Kainen Blackburn; Maw-Maw Aunt Debbie Chandler and honorary parents, Glenn and Freda Chandler Quertermous of Charleston, Missouri; Aunt Martha Norris of Marble Hill, Missouri; Uncle Billy Wayne Bell of Cape Girardeau, Missouri; Uncle and Aunt Joe and Lisa Chandler, Charleston Missouri ; Uncle Forrest Chandler Little Rock, Arkansas and Uncle Kenny McClendon of Clarksville, Georgia; and many cousins who loved him dearly.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until time for memorial services at 2:30 p.m., Saturday, April 2, 2022, at the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston.
Interment will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery near Charleston under the direction of the McMikle Funeral Home of Charleston.
