Sandra L. "Sandy" Johnson, 71 of Sergeant Bluff, passed away Monday, March 28, 2022.
Memorial services will be held 6 pm Thursday, March 31 at Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City, 4125 Orleans Ave. Visitation will be held Thursday, March 31 from 4-6pm at the funeral home.
Sandy was born on February 2, 1951 in Sergeant Bluff, the daughter of Kenneth and Ruby (Mack) Henry. She graduated from the Maple Valley High School in 1970. On November 22, 1972 Sandy was united in marriage to John Johnson in Vermillion, South Dakota.
Sandy worked at IBP and later, for 28 years at MCI until it closure in 2006. Sandy loved to shop and making crafts. She loved being with her family. Sandy had several different Ford Mustangs over the years, and she especially loved driving her 2016 convertible.
Sandy is survived by her husband John, son, Johnny (Kalie) Johnson, daughter, Angie Johnson, grandchildren; Abby (Brandon) Childs, Keagan (Jayci) Putnam, Briston Johnson, Chloe Johnson and Kollin Johnson, great-grandchildren; Sophia Johnson, William Childs, Jack Childs and Jesse Childs, her brothers, Kenny Henry, Gary Henry and Joe Henry, and her sisters, Diane (Kevin) Heinse, Elizabeth Worrell and Victoria (Kurt) Palmer.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister, Patricia Johnson and two brothers, Douglas Henry and Steven Henry.
