Linda Louise Wilkerson, age 67 of Baldwin passed away Sunday, March 27, 2022 at Ascension St. Vincent's Riverside Hospital. She was born on June 28, 1954 in Providence, Rhode Island to the late Albert and Stefanie (Forgiel) Nadeau. She would go on to receive an associates degree and after moving to the Jacksonville area, she would work for many years for the Duval County Tax Collector's Office. In her spare time, Linda enjoyed all sorts of arts and craft, mainly knitting, quilting, and crocheting. She also enjoyed stamp collecting. She will be remembered by those who knew her best as loving, caring, and an accepting mother.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister: Barbara Gabriau; step-son: Eugene Wilkerson; and beloved husband: Franklin Wilkerson.
She is survived by her children: Joleen (Raymond) Gorman of Francestown, NH, Jacob Tourgee of Baldwin, Rory (Daniel Wilson) Tourgee of Fort Collins, CO, and Matthew (Sara) Tourgee of Warren, ME; grandchildren: Stephanie Gorman, Elliot Gorman, Colton Tourgee, Peregrin Tourgee, Dorian Tourgee, Cynthia Wilkerson, Carin Wilkerson, Alyssa Hodge, Aaron Von Miles, and Cameron Fisk; sister: Kathleen Fournier of Deltona; niece: Patricia Facha of Deltona; and daughter-in-law: Laura Lee Wilkerson of Valdosta.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 31, 2022 at 3:00 PM in the chapel of Forbes Funeral Home with Chaplain Terry Yerby officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00 – 3:00 PM. Final memorialization will be by cremation.
