Joyce Bowen Webb age 84 of Palestine went to spend her eternity with her Lord and Savior on Monday, the 28th day of March 2022. Joyce was born to Reece and Effie Bowen on the 16th of January 1938 in Bloomington, Texas. Joyce dearly enjoyed spending time with her family, gardening, and oh did she love to cook. Joyce was a member of Southside Baptist Church. She very much enjoyed her Sunday School family.

Joyce leaves behind her loving husband of 65 years, Joe Webb; son Steve Webb and wife Tami; son Greg Webb; and daughter Rhonda Naismith and husband Ricky; grandchildren Clint Naismith and wife Alexandra, Kaylee Webb and fiancé Nick Grogan, Kelsee Wells and husband Cody; three great grandchildren Laura Naismith, Wyatt Naismith and Eva Jocelynn Wells. Joyce is also survived by her sister Pat Spivey and husband Marvin of Victoria and numerous nephews and nieces.

She was preceded in death by her father Reece Bowen and mother Effie Bowen; sisters Thelma Clay and Reecie Evans.

A funeral service to celebrate the life of Joyce Webb will be conducted at ten o'clock in the morning on Friday April the first at the Bailey & Foster Funeral Chapel. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at nine a.m. Bro. David English will be officiating the service. Interment will follow in Roselawn Park Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to Bailey & Foster Funeral Home.

Serving as pallbearers are Jerry Furr, John Havis, Lionel Johnson, Johnny Titlow, Bryan Evans, Eric Evans, Doug Evans and Benny Toole. Honorary pallbearers are Joe Becton, Bill Brown and Bob Riley.

The family would like to thank Heart to Heart for the care that was given during this difficult time. A special thanks to Gayle Shook for her love and support.
