Richard Donald Dean, 77, of Junction City, KS, passed away on Wednesday, March 23, 2022 at Salina Regional Health Center in Salina, KS. A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, March 31, 2022 at the Johnson Funeral Home. Burial will follow the funeral at Kansas Veterans' Cemetery with military honors.

Richard was born June 27, 1944, in Wetmore, KS the son Robert and Elizabeth (Wyatt) Dean.

Richard served in the United States Army where he worked as a mechanic. After his discharge from the United States Army, he worked for Tony's Pizza in Salina, KS. He was a member of the Korean United Methodist Church in Junction City, KS. He enjoyed gardening.

He married Nam P. Yun August 3, 1979 in Seoul, Korea.

Survivors include his wife Nam of the home in Junction City, KS; one brother and two sisters.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
