James Richie Cole, age 63, of Nicholls passed away at his residence on March 28, 2022 after an extended illness. He was born in Coffee County on March 12, 1959. He was son of the late James M. Cole and preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Bill and Willie Mae Cole; maternal grandparents, Mike and Clara Rowell and stepson, Carlton Musgrove.

Survivors include his wife of 19 years, Sandra Myers Cole of Nicholls; his mother, Latrelle Rowell Cole; daughter, Hilary Cole Rodriguez and husband Nicolas of Douglas; step daughter, Candace Spivey Smith and husband Jeremy of Broxton; sister, Pamela Cole Harrell of Nicholls and 5 grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held Friday, April 1, 2022 at Roberts Cemetery at 2:00 PM with Rev. Jackie Smith officiating.

Active pallbearers will be; Stacy Bennett, Andy Fussell, Nathan Tarver, Cameron Cole, Jay Ryles and Mark Harrell.

Crosby Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.
