Mrs. Smith was born in New Orleans, La. She resided in Syracuse 43 years.
She was a communicant of the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception.
Surviving, besides Mrs. Green, are four other daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Savage of New York City, Mrs. Juanita Smith, Mrs. Shirley Fagan and Mrs. Marion Hatcher; a son, William T.; a brother, Robert; 20 grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
