Mrs. W.W. Owen, 79, died Monday at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Tidwell. Services were held at the Main Street Baptist Church in Fort Worth.
Mrs. Owen was born in Kentucky and married Mr. Owen in Cleburne, Texas in 1890. She had lived in that area for a number of years, moving to Arlington, Texas where they lived for 20 years. She moved to Jones County in March 1949 to stay with the Tidwell family because of Mrs. Owens' health.
