Sylvia Adele Hubbard Leach, of Shreveport, Louisiana went home to be with her Lord on Monday, March 28, 2022 at the age of 97. She was born August 18, 1924 in Dallas, Texas to Wheeler Hubbard and Pearl Eastridge Hubbard Roark.

Sylvia was very active in her community and was a member of many different organizations. She was a past member of American Legion Women's Auxillary Post 14, a member of Magnolia Chapter of the Eastern Star and a member of Broadmoor Baptist Church. She retired from Federal Civil Service at Barksdale Air Force Base after many years of service. After retiring, she enjoyed working in the yard and making ceramics. Most of all she adored her family. Sylvia will be deeply missed by those who loved her.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughter and her husband; a son and his wife; five grandchildren; and five great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Jack Leach, Sr.; son, Stephen Clyde Leach and her parents.

A visitation for Sylvia will be held Thursday, March 31, 2022 at 10:00 AM at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home, 8801 Mansfield Road, Shreveport, Louisiana 71108. Following the visitation will be a celebration of life at graveside at 11:00 AM at Centuries Memorial Park, 8801 Mansfield Road, Shreveport, LA 71108. She will be laid to rest in Centuries Memorial Park.
