Carol Ann Baker, age 72, of Quincy, died Monday, March 28, 2022, at 9:30 pm in Blessing Hospital.

Carol was born October 16, 1949 in Quincy, the daughter of Robert "Gene" and Alta Margaret Schafer Homan. She married Terry Baker on October 9, 1971 in Salem Church in Quincy. He survives.

Carol grew up and went to school in the northeast , MO area. She worked at Motorola in Quincy until they closed. Carol worked a few odd jobs in Quincy until finding work as a waitress at Elder's. There she remained for over 30 years until her retirement in 2013. The Bakers are members of Salem Church in Quincy. In her spare time Carol enjoyed playing bingo and had an extensive collection of owl memorabilia. The most important thing in Carols life was her family. She loved them with all her heart and made sure they knew it.

Survivors in addition to her husband include: two children, Bobbi Jo Baker and Terry Eugene "TJ" (Jen) Baker; four grandchildren, Taylor, Hannah, Jordan, and Chance Baker; six great grandchildren, Jamie, Andy, Allie, Noah Jr., Jeremiah, and Maisie; and two great grandchildren on the way.

Carol was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Bobby Homan, Jr., and a son Richard in infancy.

Services: 2:00 pm Tuesday, April 5, 2022 at Hansen-Spear Funeral Home, with Rev. Matthew Hunt officiating. Burial in Quincy Memorial Park will follow.

Visitation: 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm, Monday April 4, 2022 at Hansen-Spear Funeral Home
