Charles "Chuck" Barnett, 86, passed away on March 25, 2022.
Survived by children, Mike (Velma) Barnett, Julie Barnett, Janet Barnett (George Heine), Susan (Howard) Russell and Marie Barnett (Brian Lang); nine grandchildren and their spouses; 20 great-grandchildren; brother, Dave (Kay) Barnett; and numerous nieces, nephews and sisters and brothers-in-law.
Preceded in death by wife, Audrey (Medved) Barnett; daughter, Anna Marie Barnett; parents; brother, Joe Barnett; son-in-law, Jeff Hoy; parents-in-law, Angela and Anton Medved; and brothers-in-law, Les Litherland and Dan Medved.
Chuck was born to Stephanie and Charles Barnett on July 23, 1935, in Pueblo, Colo.
He retired from Oregon Steel and enjoyed his family, bass fishing, trips to Cripple Creek, nature, wildlife, archery, fishing trips and football (his favorite team was the Denver Broncos.) Chuck was a past member of Minnequa Works CU Supervisory Committee and one of the founding members of the Southern Colorado Bass Club.
