James Howard "Bo" Davidson, 85, of Plumerville, Arkansas was welcomed into his eternal home on Monday, March 28, 2022. Also known as "Jimmy," he was born in Hill Creek on March 29, 1936 to the late James Cicero and Mable Clara Morgan Davidson. Bo was preceded in death by his parents and brothers Jack, Bill, Shorty, and Doyle, his wife of 65 years Ila Marie Huett Davidson, son Steve Davidson, and granddaughter Kayla Jo Biggers. Left to cherish his memory are daughters Nancy (Jimmy) Hart and Judy (Gus) Biggers, both of Springfield, daughter-in-law Kathy Davidson of Little Rock, nine grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, sisters Barbara Davidson of Morrilton and Peggy Smith of Hill Creek, sister-in-law Faye Davidson of Conway, and sister-in-law Wilma Branton of Sherwood.

Serving God, loving family, and nurturing friendships were priorities throughout Bo's life. His personal relationship with Jesus provided the foundation that nurtured and sustained a 65-year marriage with the love of his life Ila and his three beautiful children. He enjoyed sharing farm life with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren camping and hunting on his "Little D Ranch."

He was a member of Mt. Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church for over 60 years and was an ordained deacon. He devoted himself to the brotherhood of Freemasonry and was a dedicated member of Plumerville Lodge #253 where he served in various offices. He was a 32-degree Mason and was honored to serve a term as Chaplain of the Grand Lodge of Arkansas. For 40 years he was a USDA Federal Meat Inspector in Morrilton.

Bo's quick wit and infectious sense of humor brought joy to all. His memory will be treasured, and his legacy of love, laughter, and loyalty will live on through those who have been touched by his humble life. "Blessed is the one who does not walk in step with the wicked, or stand in the way that sinners take, or sit in the seat of mockers. But his delight is in the law of the Lord." Psalm 1:1-2.

Funeral services at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, March 31, at Mt. Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church with Bro. Todd West and Bro. Jesse Hales officiating. Burial at Kilgore Cemetery.
