DELTON, MI -Laurie A. Taylor, of Delton, passed away July 4, 2016, at Borgess Medical Center.
Laurie was born February 7, 1962 in Kalamazoo, the daughter of David and Margery Ann (Kline) Parker. A dedicated inside salesperson at Fibers of Kalamazoo for nearly 26 years, Laurie enjoyed flower gardening and fishing on the area lakes. Most of all, Laurie loved being with her grandchildren.
Laurie was also a member of the Delton Moose Lodge Number 1649.
Laurie is survived by her friend and partner, George Addison; a son, James Taylor, Jr.; a daughter, Tiffany Taylor; her stepmother, Lynnie Parker; stepdaughters, Nichole Mc-Carty and Kaitlyn Addison; sisters, Diane Parker and Wendy (Jeff) Conklin; a brother-in-law, Gary Goheen; grandchildren, James Taylor III, Elizjah Porter, Jackson McCarty, Rhiannon Richards and Lilly Mashburn; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Laurie was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Pamela Goheen.
A memorial service will be conducted Friday, July 8, 2016 at 11 a.m., at Faith United Methodist Church, 503 S. Grove Street, (M-43) Delton. Pastor Edward Ross will officiate. Private burial will take place in Prairie Home Cemetery, Richland.
