Funeral services for Ronald Ray Randolph 61, of Magnolia formerly of Athens have been scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Friday April 1, 2022 at Autry's Carroll-Lehr Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Park, Athens. Visitation for family and friends will be held Friday from 1-2P.M. prior to the service.
Ronald was born February 28, 1961 in Laurel Mississippi to the late Dewey J. and Joan Redpath Randolph. Ronald was a hard worker in the field of welding and took on odd jobs like painting draglines. He loved building his RC boats and taking them to the lake. He played the harmonica, well he tried to play the harmonica. He liked cars, fixing them up to look cool. He also loved grilling outside and loved fried bologna sandwiches, maybe too much and don't forget his always present suspenders. He worked Monday-Friday and sometimes Saturdays but always had time for Sundays at Grandma and Grandpa's house. Rather than using his vacation time from work he would use that money to buy school clothes for his kids every year. When his kids were young, he loved to make up songs and sing in the car. In his younger days he loved riding his Harley Davidson to Buddy's parking lot in Athens. He moved to Old Magnolia with his wife Cindy and enjoyed making their yard look the best. He built their porch and placed signs there to let you know Cindy and Ronnie Randolph lived there. He was really proud of his flagpole with the U.S. and Texas flags and placed lighting everywhere so you could see them at night. During the spring he planted flowers to give Cindy something pretty to look at out the window. He took the best care of his wife, even the nurses would compliment his work. He was the best father, husband, son, brother and person anyone could ask for.
He was preceded in death by his parents; D.J. and Joan Randolph, brother; Leon Randolph.
Survivors include his wife Cindy, sons; Matthew and Lance, daughters; Tracey and Danielle, son-in-law; Richard, daughter-in-law; Tabitha, Matthew and Tracey's Mother and friend; Bobbie, grandsons; Jeffrey Gage and Nicholas Gavin, mother-in-law; Peggy, sisters-in-law; Sharon and Melanie, brothers-in-law; David, Jakie, Tommy and Lonnie, nieces; Adriana, Christina and Tanisha, nephew; Jeremy
