Carol was born on August 1st, 1945, in Floral Park, New York to Verle and Doris (Graff) Paris. She graduated from Grand Junction High School in 1963 and graduated from the University of Colorado with a degree in the Bachelor of Arts in 1970. She was a Laboratory Medical Technician for over 40 years in both Denver and Grand Junction, Colorado. While working as a Laboratory Medical Technician, as well as worked as a substitute teacher for several high schools in the Denver area. She helped to teach in the MLS program at Fort Hays State University in Hays, Kansas.
When not working, Carol loved to travel, taking trips to England, Whales, Scotland, and Ireland. She hosted several Colorado Rockies players and enjoyed watching them play in the Grand Junction league. She served in the Beta Sigma Phi Sorority. Her love of dachshunds was shown to Max, Frankie, Frieda, and Emma.
Carol is survived by her son, Mark Wilson, daughter-in-law Spring Wilson, and grandsons Kevin and Scott.
