BURKE JOSEPH J. passed away peacefully at home on March 25, 2022 in the company of his family. Beloved husband of Joan (nee Merker) (deceased), married 24 September 1953, Cuyahoga County, Ohio, dear father of Sherry Brennan (James), Colleen Cook (James), Cindy Minton (Randy) and Joe (Michelle); grandfather of Katie, Sean, Brandon, Lauren, Neil, Danny, Eva, Gillian and Renni; great-grandfather to Maura, Emma, Emmett and Opal; son of the late Anna (nee Arhar) and Joseph Burke; preceded in death by his siblings, Marion Ciero, Beverly Ankert (Larry), Robert (Carol). Joe was a successful businessman, a devoted husband of 56 years to his wife Joan, devoted father and grandfather and friend to many. Joe and Joan enjoyed traveling, boating and time spent with their family and friends. Joe was a long time member of the Knights of Columbus and spent most of his life volunteering at St. Raphael Church and Parish and the Magnificat Father's Club. Mass of Christian Burial Friday, April 1, 2022 at 10:30 am at St. Raphael Church, 525 Dover Center Road, Bay Village. Internment Lakewood Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Raphael Church.
