Frederick Van der Merwede, a resident of this borough for twenty-five years past had been at 16 Grant Avenue, Cypress Hills, died Tuesday from a complication of ailments in the Long Island College Hospital. He was born in New York City, March 2, forty-seven years ago, was a florist and is survived by his wife, Sarah, four children, five brothers and three sisters. The funeral will be held tomorrow morning at 10 o'clock at the funeral chapel at 393 1-2 Gates avenue, and the internment will be made in Holy Trinity Cemetery, privately.
