He grew up in Augusta and Martinez, GA, graduated from Evans High School and lived most of his adult life in Columbia Co, GA. He was Baptist by faith and a charter member of Trinity Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his father, Dr. K C Stevens. Surviving are his mother, Bobbie Duckworth Stevens; wife of 40 years, Lindia Lefler Stevens; daughters, Ericka Stevens Gilstrap (Johnny) and Kellie Stevens Aguliar (Cona); sister, Wanda Hensley; brother, Michael Stevens (Lula, companion); and seven grandchildren.
