Marvin Lamar Crisp, born April 13, 1956, went to be with the Lord on March 26, 2022, at the age of 65. As a jack of all trades, his true passion was excavating, which he enjoyed with his son, Tim. He was most content when running his high-lift. Marvin was a salt of the earth man of God, filled with the Holy Ghost and overflowed with faith, love, and obedience to the Father. He was attending RIO East Church.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Karen Hope Crisp; his parents, Samuel Lee and Anna Lee Crisp; siblings Loraine Crisp, Raymond Crisp, Dean Richards, Patricia King, Carol Nuchols, Michael Crisp, and Lisa Browning.

He is survived by his daughter and son-in law, Betty Kay and Timothy "Alf" Lindsey, Jr.; son and daughter-in-law, Timothy Charles Lamar and Mindy Crisp; grandchildren, Kayla Hopper, Julie Jones, Jacob Click, Chasity Lee Crisp, Brianna Tindell, Alicia Haney, Tyler Jones, Landon Lindsey, Isaac Crisp, and Bryson Crisp; siblings, Barbara Ogle, James Crisp, Roger Crisp, Mark Crisp, Paul Crisp, and Cindy Rowland.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 31, 2022, from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm at RIO East located at 1601 E. Broadway of Maryville. A Celebration of Life Service will begin at 7:00 pm with Pastor Dale Buchanan officiating. Interment will be Friday, April 1, 2022, at 12:00 pm at Prospect Baptist Church in Walland.

In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations to help with funeral expenses.
