Forrest formerly worked at Artesian and Crane Plumbing and at Kroger after his retirement. He attended McElroy Rd. Church of God and Wesleyan Holiness Church in West Virginia. Forrest enjoyed perusing flea markets and garage sales. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Aerie #302 in Zanesville. He especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, who loved him very much, Margaret "Marty" (Boals) Worden; two children, John (Ellen) Worden and Sonny (Beanesa) Worden, all of Mansfield; close family friend whom he helped raise, Kenny (Judy) Ward of Trenton, GA; thirteen grandchildren; twenty-eight great-grandchildren; a sister, Dorothy (Bill) Mayle of Canton; special sister-in-law, Dora (Jack) Hignite of Mansfield; and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Brenda Worden; parents; three brothers, Ellsworth, Frank and Ralph; and two sisters, Pearl and Isabelle.
Friends may visit from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., Sunday, May 31, 2009, at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 100 S. Lexington-Springmill Road, Mansfield. Funeral services will be held Monday at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home with Rev. David Maley and Rev. Frank Moore officiating. Burial will follow in Vermillion Cemetery.
