Bill retired from Gully Trucking after 20 years and 3 million accident-free miles.
He had proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy. Bill was a member of St. Francis Solanus Catholic Church and was a Fourth-Degree member of the Knights of Columbus.
Bill liked woodworking, gardening, camping and RV'ing with his wife Anita. The time spent with his family and his pups Tucker and Tiffany was his most cherished.
Bill is survived by his children: Allan J. Cermak and his wife Kathy of Hannibal, MO and Brian E. Cermak of Corrigan, TX.
Grandchildren: Jacob Martin and Charissa Martin; Amber Schumacher and her husband Matthew, Ashley Cermak, Michael Cermak and his wife Danielle, Alexander Cermak, Alexis Cermak, David Hayes II, Madison Cermak, Alyssa Cermak and Ian Cermak.
Four-great grandchildren, along with numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Anita, two sisters, and a son James Kevin Martin.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 1, 2022 at 9:30 a.m. in the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home and a Mass of Catholic Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. in St. Francis Solanus Catholic Church by Father David Beagles. Interment in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. in the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home with the Knights of Columbus Fourth Degree providing an Honor Guard. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or St. Francis Solanus Catholic Church. Duker & Haugh FH.
