Charles C. Olmstead, age 69, passed away on Wednesday, March 9, 2022, at home.

He was the beloved husband of Grietje Olmstead.

Born in Mohall, North Dakota, he was a son of the late Patrick and Irene (Munson) Olmstead. He earned a bachelor's degree focused in Institutional and Environmental Managment with a minor in Business from North Dakota State University.

Charles was employed by Lifespan as the Director of Operations for many years. He was a devoted father to his children and loved them more than anything. He will be remembered for his prolific cannonballs, neighborhood tractor rides, and building snow forts during the winter months.

In addition to his wife, Grietje, he is survived by his children, Benjamin, Maité, and Aleya Olmstead; siblings, Patricia Olmstead and Timothy Olmstead. Charles was the brother of the late Daniel and Mark Olmstead. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

His funeral will be private at the convenience of the family.
