Laura, age 96, of Evarts, KY, was a homemaker and believed in the Holiness Faith. She was the daughter of Tom and Lucy Sproles. Preceding her in death were her parents; her first husband W. R. "Pearl" Burkhart; her second husband, Jasper A. Hendricks (died 1976); and 10 of her children: James Burkhart, Nathaniel Hendricks, Herbert Hendricks, Frances Hendricks, Curtis Hendricks, Chester Hendricks, Orvil Hendricks, Roxie Goss, Flossie Richards and Goldie Brock. She was survived by 13 children: Clifford (and wife Linda); Walter (wife Susie); Hubert (wife Yvonne); all of Indianapolis,IN,; Elijah (wife Ruth) of Evarts; Ruby Carson, Louisville; Stella Williams, Richmond, IN; Naomi Vanoy, Crossville, TN; Clara Woods, WV; Lottie Chism, Sterling Hts.,MI; Genevia Osborns (husband Bud), Brookside; Loraine Faircloth (husband Mack), Greensboro, NC; Agnes Mains,Seattle, WA; Louise Brooks (George), Pineville. Other survivors were daughter-in-law Dean Burkhart, Richmond, IN; and 88 grandchildren and more than 50 great-grandchildren and many great-great-grandchildren.
