Joseph (Jody) Holden, 86, of Warren, passed away on Wednesday, December 1, 2021 at Mid Jefferson Extended Care Hospital in Beaumont, Texas.
Visitation will be Monday, December 6, 2021 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Stringer and Griffin Funeral Home Chapel in Woodville. A rosary service will be held at 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 7, 2021 at Our Lady of the Pines Catholic Church in Woodville, with Father Joseph Sigur officiating. Burial will follow at Fellowship Cemetery in Warren.
Jody was born April 6, 1935 to Leo and Jennie Holden in Beaumont, Texas.
He was preceded in death by his parents, nine sisters and one brother.
He is survived by his wife Anita Holden of Warren; sons Leo Holden and wife Judy of Sour Lake, Joe Holden of Warren, David Holden and wife Dana of Warren, Danny Holden of Beaumont; daughter Lori Valentine and husband Rick of Fred; grandchildren Ashley Vance, Chase Austin, Jillian Holden, Heather Holden, Brian Holden, Daniel Holden, Nicholas Holden and Jonathan Searfoss; and great grandchildren Jewelia Austin, Jacey Austin, June Austin, Jentry Austin, Jeremiah Austin and Cale Vance.
